Personal Details

Full Name:My name is Lenie Nellis,my house name is Meereh as known. Many of my friends call me Mierkie as a nickname

I was born in Namibia on the 8th of August 1989.I am the second child of my parents out of four children. Shortly after months we left for South Africa

Education

I started my school career in 1996 in our local hometown of Schmidtsdrift, where the name Schmidtsdrift San Combined School is called. And in year 2008 in the same School,changing the name to ! Xunkhwesa Combined School I was 12th grade, but not fully completed. I didn’t study further after my Grade 12.

In 2011 I started with Hunger&Thirts where our children train from sports and so on. My job was to motivate children at school, the Grade 2 to Grade 3 about lifestyles and sport.

In 2014, I was assigned to workshop where I was trained for two weeks for Computer Assistants from Witsridge College where I received my Certificate Card.

In year 2016 I started working for the SABC radio X-K fm as a freelance broadcaster on the air for children’s programmes-Let’s Learn and Let’s Play together.

I really enjoy talking on the air, and it was an honor for me. I’m looking forward to learning more experience in the broadcast industry as well.

In 2019, I had Further Education and Training Certificate: Information Technology: End-User Computer Science training for 12 months.
