Personal details
Full Name (s): Anna Ndao that’s the only name I have. My late granny used to call me NghewoGhewo and one day “I asked my granny the meaning of the name and she answered, my daughter I call you with that name for a simple reason “because you used to wear very short skirts when you were a small baby girl”. I was born in Namibia at Bagani Village. I am the 3rd child of seven children’s 4 brothers and 2 sisters of my parents and sadly my father passed away in 2008.
Educational — I attended school in !Xunkhwesa Combined School and completed my schooling career at the same school. After school I did home based care training and Communications in English and I am in position of a certificate in both trainings.
Work Experience — Worked as a volunteer of Platfontein day Clinic, Volunteered at Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) and later worked at South African Red Cross Society (SARC’s).
Currently — In 2006 I started working at SABC Radio X-K FM as women’s programme presenter until now. I am now more than 10 years in radio broadcasting.
I love my work and am looking forward to study in the following fields to further my study: Audio Editing, Interview Skills and technical skills.
